'Randje Bos' is a lush retreat in the hem of the Lembeek woods. A biodiverse outdoor haven on half an acre where hikers & swimmers, game pickers & field cooks, peace & green seekers can indulge. Inside the chalet, you'll enjoy a spherical living space with wood stove, a bedroom with lovely morning views, a kitchen and bathroom with everything you need. On the shelf are a rake selection of books, games and stuff. Outside, you can cook or fire more adventurously. There's a loam oven (bread, pizza), a campfire area with three-pole and a covered outdoor kitchen. You get ingredients from the kitchen garden, the greenhouse or the food forest. You'll harvest something in every season: herbs, vegetables, berries, fruit or mushrooms. And fresh eggs from the chickens! Equally, you observe the outdoors in amazement. Or seek summer coolness or winter kicks in the swimming pond. We currently limit stays to 2 adults. In summer, the canvas tent offers more options.

You are on the edge of the Lembeek woods in the Meetjesland, a stone's throw from Ghent. A private road along the grounds gives you access to hours of hiking fun and nature experience. Located on a historic drifting sand ridge, you will initially encounter a heather and pine forest landscape. Gradually it changes into an ecosystem of moister deciduous forest with a more diverse fauna & flora. Have already been spotted: The Kingfisher, the black woodpecker, deer families & rare mushrooms. Also the Drongengoedbos, arboretum Het Leen, the creek area and the Dutch coast are nearby. This nature house is located between the villages of Sleidinge and Lembeke (Kaprijke). In addition to the regular offer in the local supermarkets, you will find some fine addresses nearby for, among other things, delicious disembroodied bread and organic cheeses. On Saturday there is a weekly farmers' market in Kaprijke, and there is a bus (Line 56) to and from Ghent every hour. The stop is 50m from the property.
