Our vacation apartment is located in a property originally used for agricultural purposes in Heidelheim, a district of the porcelain town of Selb. The modernly furnished vacation apartment on the first floor offers 105 m² of high-quality kitchen equipment with a dining area, a disabled-friendly bathroom with a spacious shower, a spacious living room for relaxing, a fully equipped bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds. A green inner courtyard with a large teak set, barbecue and parasol invites you to enjoy a cozy get-together. Children can splash around in the water of a large granite trough or play in the 4 m² sandpit. The property has an award-winning garden, which is lovingly tended by the owners.

Over decades of continuous community effort, the Heidelheim village community has shaped its circular village into a rural idyll that has become a feel-good place not only for the residents themselves, but also for the many vacation guests. Heidelheim has received thirty-nine awards in the "Our village has a future" competition since 1961, including Bavarian state silver in 2010 and state bronze in 2018. The village can only be reached via an access road, meaning there is no through traffic. Here, children play on the village square, the village green or at the village pond. Heidelheim belongs to the district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtelgebirge. The Fichtelgebirge mountain range in north-eastern Bavaria lies like a giant horseshoe. Schneeberg and Ochsenkopf, the highest mountains in Franconia, rise over 1000 meters high. Wild granite rock towers rise out of the rustic mountain forests as if piled up by giant hands.
