In the middle of Burgundy lies this authentic nature house. It is part of an old farmhouse of 35m long, 11m wide and 11m high. We, Paula and Kees, welcome you and live in a separate part. We take care of maintenance and are at your service with tourist tips, to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Your part consists of two double bedrooms, one with extra bed, a large living room with open kitchen, sitting and dining area and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The house has a large balcony, adjacent to bedroom 2, with magnificent views over the hills of Burgundy, a landscaped garden with lounge set under a party tent, heated swimming pool with terrace, outdoor shower and outdoor kitchen. The entire backyard is at your disposal. Around the garden white Charolais cows graze and a walking path leads to the medieval castle of Antigny, whose feudal rulers once owned the farm.

Burgundy has a lot to offer! The landscape is rolling, forming a patchwork of grain fields, meadows, vineyards and forests. Detailed hiking and biking maps are available at the Office de Tourisme in Bligny-sur-Ouche or Arnay-le-Duc. Or download an app. Beautiful cycling routes run along the Canal de Bourgogne and across the wine region, from Dijon, through Beaune to Santenay. There are many beautiful and old historic towns and villages in the area. Beaune is 25 km away and thanks to wine and tourists it is a rich town with the famous Hotel de Dieu (a 1443 hospital). Autun with its arena was founded by the Romans. Dijon is the magnificent ancient capital of the Dukes of Burgundy. There are dozens of castles in the area. In Fontenay there is an abbey from the 12th century. In Alesia, Julius Caesar defeated the Gaul Vercingetourix. In the nearby Morvan you can sail or swim in the lakes and enjoy nature. There are several beautiful golf courses!
