As soon as you walk into our yard the stress falls off you. At the back of our yard is a converted barn. The rear part is a Tiny House made, when you enter is right there is the living / sleeping / kitchen area. Behind it is a spacious bathroom with toilet - shower - sink. The kitchen is complete with an oven / microwave, induction hob and fridge freezer. Tea, hand and dish towels are provided and there are towels in the bath room. The two single beds are made up and extra comforters and sheets can be found in the closet. At the entrance to the Tiny house is a terrace and a piece of garden. Outside on the terrace, you can enjoy the vast country. In the morning and evening, deer do walk by and you can hear the birds with their morning and evening concert. It is truly relaxing in our Tiny house.

From the house it is 2 km to the beach with a cozy pavilion on the Tjeukemeer. Here you can take a refreshing dive, have a snack or a drink and even rent a boat to explore the Frisian waters. By bike you can make beautiful trips, including via various ferries to Langweer with its beautiful old village center and cozy terraces. Also worth visiting is Joure at 5 km with the D.E. museum and the old houses in and behind the Midstraat. In the summer there are the Ballonfeesten, the Boerebruiloft and the Jouster Merke. If you are looking for more peace and quiet, this is also the place to be. The Easkerskar is within cycling distance, where you can wander through the nature reserve of the Fryske Gea and visit the Skiere Goes (the bird-watching cabin) is an experience in itself. Here you can see many (water) birds but also the otter and the pine marten. Perhaps you will spot the bald eagle or the osprey, which is also regularly seen here.
