Upon arrival you can have tea/coffee and quietly unpack all your belongings. The front house is fully equipped to make it a wonderful stay. In bad weather relaxing on the couch watching TV or in the summer outside on the terrace for a snack and drink or read a book in peace. It is also possible to bring dogs and horses.

Westenesch is a rural brink village with surrounding agricultural land, the water extraction area (WMD) and the orange canal from the eighteenth century. Also located in Westenesch is hunebed D44 which is privately owned. From the residence there are several walking and cycling routes available. Also, the Drenthepad runs through the village. At about 7km you can pick up the Pieterpad. The environment is rural, green and quiet. Want to go out: Wildlands Adventure Zoo and the Atlas Theater at the town hall square are eye-catchers.
