Our nature house is located in the beautiful countryside of Winterswijk Ratum on the Masterveld, another unique piece of the Netherlands. Our guesthouse is part of our farm from 1922. Located on a quiet road with wide views over meadows and woods. Where at night only the moon and the stars illuminate the Masterveld. One hundred years ago came here the first residents and we experience it as a favor to live here. The guest house (90m2) has a private entrance with terrace from which you can spot wildlife, including deer, hare, pheasant ect. Hall with toilet, living room and fully equipped kitchen. Stairs with railings to the 1st floor with 2 bedrooms. 2 extra rooms for suitcases and clothes. Crib and high chair available. Shower with sink and separate toilet. Free parking 2x and storage for your bikes. No pets allowed. Please do not smoke

From the guesthouse you can directly cycling and / or walking through the beautiful scenic landscape with winding roads. A visit to Winterswijk with its many stores and cozy cafes, cinema and theater is also very worthwhile. The Mondrian museum is also highly recommended. The quarry where the Eagle Owl breeds ( part of the Natura 2000 area Willinks Weust) is 2 km away. In the German town of Zwillbrocker Venn (10 km), just across the border in Germany, some 40 flamingos and a sizeable colony of seagulls nest annually. From bird-watching huts you can admire the birds.
