Peace, space and enjoyment. The farmhouse is located directly at the edge of the forest. From there you can go exploring in nature or quietly enjoy burgundy on the front terrace at the edge of the forest, where the birds are happily chirping. Relax while sleeping on the box spring bed for two, where there is also a bunk bed. The house is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, oven and hob. On the back terrace you look out on the garden. In addition to vegetables and fruit, the backyard has a variety of flowers to attract bees, (food) bushes for birds and a pond to further increase biodiversity. The bantam chickens prefer to scurry unobtrusively through the garden and are happy to provide you with fresh eggs. Access to the rear garden is by arrangement only. The house is located in the narrowest part of the Netherlands, only 4.8 km wide. It is a 5-minute drive from the A2 and A73 exits and you can easily park in front of the door.

We are located on the edge of Reigersbroek Montfort, De Erks and the Rozendaal Estate. This is also where you will find the observation tower-happy spot 1 Roerdalen. The ideal destination for bird watching and maybe even a glimpse of the local animals such as young red deer. Only 800 meters from the Pieterpad (stages Swalmen-Montfort, Montfort-Sittard) and directly on the technical and challenging Mountain Bike route Montfort of 18.6 km. This goes through the beautiful village of Montfort and the adjacent nature reserves. The walk Rondje Molenplas with Hompesche Molen as starting point is highly recommended.The National Park De Meinweg is only 13 km away.The cities of Roermond and Sittard can be reached 15 min (car)/40 min (bike).Train station Echt 4km, 13 min (bike).Farm store Lizette-Sint Joost has an extensive range of fresh artisanal local products.The white gold (asparagus) is abundantly available in season (April-June).
