This nature house is the ideal base to discover the Österlen area! The cottage is a typical Swedish falun red wooden house with a living area of 65m2. The cottage has a spacious living room, with two sofas, a chair and a dining table for 6 people. The kitchen is simple but complete with oven, a fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee maker and microwave. There are three bedrooms in the cottage. One room with a double bed 160x200. A room with a bunk bed 90x200 and a room with a single bed 90x200. Single mattress is also available. An extra mattress is available and in the summer months you can use the extra stuga with two single beds. The large garden, ca 1400m2, offers enough space and privacy to enjoy the Swedish outdoor life. There is a terrace at the cottage and a small sitting area further into the garden. There is a shed containing a barbecue and outdoor games.
Nature and surroundings
Österlen is part of the southern province of Skåne and is a popular area. The Swedes sometimes call this area "the Swedish provence. The cottage is within walking distance of the beautiful nature reserve Drakamöllan. Less than a 15-minute drive away you are at the sea. The forsaker nature reserve is nearby with a beautiful waterfall and in the summer the outdoor pool in the nature reserve is open. In Christinehofs ecopark you will find the highest waterfall in the province, Hallamölla waterfall. In addition, the whole area Österlen offers many beautiful places, the apple factory in Kivik, Ales Stenar in Kåseberga, hiking in Stenshuvud national park, the beach at Knäbäckshusen. For a day out with children, more to the north, near Osby, the Brio toy museum is an hour's drive away and a little further is the town of Älmhult, where you will find the Ikea museum. A rolling landscape with beautiful churches and in the villages you can discover plenty of bakeries and stores.
