In the middle of Italy , in the beautiful hills of Le Marche on the border with Umbria , our nature house Il Castellaro is an authentic Italian farmhouse from 1800. Located between the rolling hills of the Apennine Mountains with a beautiful view of Monte Cucco, Monte Strega and Monte Catria. We have 5 B & B rooms, suitable for two to five people all with private bathroom and a small apartment for two people with a private terrace. Your pet is welcome by arrangement. In the farmhouse is the restaurant with terrace, where we serve an Italian meal 5 times a week. On the terrace you can enjoy a spectacular sunset. Furthermore, there is a beautiful garden with a small pool, In the garden there are several seating areas created, where you can enjoy the tranquility, the view and a good glass of wine from Le Marche.

We strive to be as sustainable as possible. There is no gas supply on the property, on the outbuildings there are 26 solar panels that provide us with electricity. For heating the water there is a solar water heater and a wood-fired stove.The organic vegetables and fruit from our vegetable garden, we use in our kitchen and at breakfast you can expect an egg from our own chickens.We are in the middle of nature, with Sassoferrato at 7 km and Fabriano at 10 km. Here there are several stores , terraces and restaurants where you can enjoy delicious regional dishes from the Marches In the immediate vicinity you can make beautiful walks or mountain bike tours. Many attractions and beautiful cities are less than an hour's drive away.
