The Maasheggen landscape is an ancient landscape unique in Western Europe. The Maasheggen UNESCO nature reserve stretches along the river Maas in the country of Cuijk. This region is rich in history and ancient nature. It lies on the Brabant side of the Meuse River and has survived agricultural mechanization best.
