The idea of converting the adjoining 1970s swimming pool into a vacation apartment was born when we first visited our house. Two years and a coronavirus pandemic later, the time had come. We have now created a completely unique temporary home that really leaves nothing to be desired. Two separate bedrooms, each with a 1.60 m double bed, an open-plan kitchen with adjoining dining gallery, an open-plan living and lounge area in the former pool floor and, of course, a bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. The whole thing is crowned by a canoe stove, a private covered terrace and, of course, the opportunity to have fun in the entire 5000 square meter garden area or to find your own retreat.

In the Sauerland and especially around Lake Sorpe, leisure and recreation are very important. There is hardly anything that is not available here. Whether on one of the numerous hiking trails (950 km of marked hiking trails from the pool house!), enjoying bends on a motorcycle or bicycle, golfing, diving, swimming or skiing, or or or or... Whether you are looking for peace and quiet or a little more action - you will find it and be delighted. The Sorpesee lake with its many possibilities, forests and hiking trails is only 500m away and can even be seen from the hotel's own terrace.
