Just over 10 minutes drive away is the regional town of Chatillon sur Seine, with all amenities.The house has been recently modernized, includes 2 lounges, dining kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 workplaces. It can accommodate up to 9 people. Per bedroom used laundry fee of 15 euros, with 75 euros cleaning fee left in the kitchen. Consumption charge post 0.35 ct Kwh afterwards deducted from deposit. The garden is very inviting with an orchard and vistas. In the beautiful auvent with fireplace is great on cooler days. There are several seating areas and terraces in all corners of the garden with a number of hammocks and loungers, pool and more. It is a garden where you automatically relax while there is also much fun to do with games for indoor and outdoor, for young and old.

The house is located on the edge of agricultural fields, forest and some vineyards in a non tourist area. One mainly enjoys here the peace, nature, the twittering of birds, walking and cycling. Many do not actually have to leave the garden. Small trips are in the area, the more touristy trips are about 40 minutes away. In Layer itself is the very old chapel with village chimes. 12 km from Layer is the Vase de Vix museum, unique in the world. The old quarter of the regional town of Chatillon sur Seine, with the church of Saint-Vorles and the springs of the Douix are worth a visit. Halfway between Dijon, the famous city of the Dukes of Burgundy and Troyes, you can taste excellent wines, Crémant or Champagne. Closer by are beautiful tourist sites such as the Abbey of Fontenay, the medieval village of Flavigny sur Ozerain.
