Our vacation home is a quiet waterfront, colorful home, equipped with all modern conveniences and a touch of traditional Frisian warmth. The house was built in the 1960s, and this can still be seen in its authentic details. On the ground floor, the house has cozy bedrooms, a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, and a fully equipped dining kitchen with a long table. The large sliding doors lead to the garden where you can enjoy the outdoors in various places to read, eat, sunbathe, or just stay in the shade. You have access to a barbecue and a kayak and canoe. There is also a wooden shower room outside. On the second floor there is a cozy living room with lounge area, dining table, TV and fireplace. Upstairs, both the front and back of the house have a spacious balcony overlooking the water. Come and enjoy this fine waterfront home!

Located in the heart of the Frisian Lakes region, our vacation home offers the perfect base for an unforgettable vacation around and on the water. Located directly on quiet waterways, with the Terhernster Poelen and the Sneekermeer 'around the corner', our house is perfect for a relaxing vacation in which all kinds of water sports can be practiced, such as canoeing, kayaking, sailing, fishing, swimming, windsurfing. The house has its own marina and jetty, so you can also bring your own boat. A Hoora Polyvalk is available for rent at the house (€300).Terherne, also known as "Chameleon village," is steeped in culture and adventure. Explore the picturesque canals by boat, stroll the quaint streets and discover the local cuisine. Terherne offers plenty of opportunities for water sports, but the area is also excellent for hiking and cycling around the Frisian Lakes. Furthermore, villages and towns like Leeuwarden, Joure, Akkrum and Grou are definitely worth a visit!
