The gite is rented by the week from Saturday 3 pm to Saturday 11 am. It is located in the Arriège, in the middle of the Pyrenees. It is located in an oasis of silence, at 700 meters altitude with full view of the mountain range. Le Mont Vallier smiles at you every day. Nature there is unique. The silence is divine. Here all stress washes away. The house is bathed in sunshine all day. Trees in the large garden provide shade. In the depths before and beside the house there is forest as far as you can see. The house itself is rustic. Walls of 80 cm built on the old stacking method. It was decorated with respect for the authentic. Here you breathe pure mountain air. The temperatures are pleasant. The terrace is blissful because it faces south. You have every comfort, but luxury is not in our dictionary, except the luxury of beauty and tranquility. It is particularly suitable for 2 to 4 people. With children, 5 is comfortable. Hikers and cyclists enjoy to the fullest.

As the photos show it, nature is breathtaking. The mountain range changes color every fifteen minutes. Pink in the morning, orange red at sunset. You can do dozens of hikes in this area. You will be left alone anyway. There are very many hiking trails. You can find many of them in the cottage and many more in "Le Centre Touristique" in Seix. You go shopping in Seix or in Saint-Girons where all the stores are there. You can go into the mountains for several days and sleep in mountain huts. There are many birds. The red kite is king there. Of course there is small game and sometimes something bigger, doe, fawn, ... You have to be able to handle an ant, a mouse and a lizard. We deliberately didn't make the house tight.
